We’re JJ and Krista, proud parents to our two little girls, Blakely and Piper. As a family serving in full-time ministry, we searched for childcare in Seattle that not only met our practical needs but also nurtured a strong sense of belonging, faith, and purpose in our children. After encountering many dead ends, we felt God calling us to create what we couldn’t find.

When our tenants moved out, we knew it was the right time to transform our furnished rental into a faith-filled, in-home Christian daycare.

We’re honored to use our space to serve young families in this special season of life — and we would love to welcome you into the Little Lights family.

About Little Lights

  • Little Lights Christian Childcare exists to partner with families in raising children who know they are deeply loved by Jesus and created to shine.

    Our program is built on Christian values and focuses on nurturing the whole child—spiritually, emotionally, socially, and academically. We provide a safe, developmentally appropriate, and joyful environment where children can explore, build relationships, and grow in confidence.

  • Our staff are trained, qualified, and aligned with the Christian mission of the program. All team members:

    • Complete DCYF background checks

    • Hold CPR and First Aid certifications

    • Receive ongoing training each year

    • Follow Washington State licensing standards

    We model professionalism, kindness, and respect in all interactions with children and families.
